2 Kings 4: 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
We serve a God that meets needs . No one has ever cried to God for help and did not receive help. God is our father. He can and will always meet our needs. He does this by the generosity of others, our own work/business and a supernatural intervention. Our text shows us the story of a woman who was in a terrible situation. She was a widow and her two sons’lives were at stake because of the debt the husband couldn’t pay before he died.
The story changed when she cried to God’s prophet Elisha. Notice how the miracle was worked. Elisha instructed her to go borrow vessels . Imagine a renown debtor going about looking for vessels. She ignored the shame that comes with borrowing and obeyed the prophet . The debt was paid and she had much more . This shows us what our God can do.When it comes to receiving miracles of provisions, you must understand that at you have to trust and obey the word of the pastor God is using to work the miracle. There is nothing God cannot do . A bottle of oil filled gallons . It can happen again and again.
All things are possible. We don’t limit the power of God and the possibilities of his power in meeting our needs. We are open to any option either via a miracle, via generosity of others or our work/business . The most important thing is we ask and receive. Though Jesus didn’t die to make us rich , of a truth God meets needs. The Bible is full of stories of needs met by God .
SPEAK BOLDLY I believe for the impossible always. My needs are met .My bills are paid .I can never ever be stranded.I do not lack resources. This day is BLESSED for me.I PRAY, I PREACH AND I DO THE WORD.
MEMORIZE AND MEDITATE 2 Kings 4: 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
