Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
The believer must have the right perspective about things and money . A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses. Your life is not equals to the things you have or don’t have. Hence you must not be greedy as a believer.
It is good to have things and money as a believer. It is good to be rich and wealthy. But never allow the things define you as a believer. What you have or don’t is not a proof that you have God. Many times, we are quick to judge people’s service for God base on material things. This is not true with God.
Your life is beyond your things. Do not centre your life all around things. This will make you know that we don’t serve God for things. God can help us get things. God can grant us the required wisdom and relationships to get things . It is important you know that material things should not be the core of your relationship with God. Things can make you happy but your joy should always be based on your eternal realities with God.
SPEAK BOLDLY My life is not in the things I have or don’t have.I know where to keep things.I am not covetous or greedy.This day is BLESSED for me.I PRAY, I PREACH AND I DO THE WORD.
