The truth about the God head is in Christ. We have established in part one that God is invisible and is only visible in Christ. No man has seen God before Christ came. We know from part one that Christ is the father made visible. Please ensure you have read part one before you proceed. Click here to read it.
We choose not to use the word trinity again because it is never used in the Bible. It was coined by Constantine, a Roman Emperor in AD 335 as explained in part one .
Jesus said to Philip in John 14, if you have seen me you have seen the father. This is because He is the father made flesh. Christ is the express image of God. He is the substance of God. Hebrews 1: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
He is the express image of His person. The word used for person in verse 3 is hupostasis. It was used as of our confidence in Heb 3:14 and the substance
Heb 11:1 where it says Faith is the substance of things hope for…. We can say that Christ is substance, the confident express image of God.
You may be asking what has all of these got to do with what is called trinity ?
ARE THERE THREE GODS? OR ONE GOD AS THREE? NONE of the above. Just follow the explanation patiently.

FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT. WHAT DOES IT MEAN ?
The Bible records that we have the father, son and Holy Spirit. The Bible never recorded we have three Gods.
Let’s look at the places where we see three Gods seemingly present.
In fact, I used the word seemingly Because YOU WILL NEVER SEE A REFERENCE EVEN from the OLD TESTAMENT where we are told to be serving 3 Gods.
None
No reference

In fact, I used the word seemingly Because YOU WILL NEVER SEE A REFERENCE EVEN from the OLD TESTAMENT where we are told to be serving 3 Gods.
None
No reference
Let’s look at the BAPTISM of Jesus
It is wrongly believed that while John was baptizing Jesus, the Holy Ghost came upon Jesus and the father thundered from heaven.
THIS IS NOT IN THE BIBLE. Not recorded like this
We are going to read the references for baptism now.
Matthew 3
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Read the above again carefully as though you never knew the story before
Notice verse 16
he saw the spirit descending like a dove
Question, WHO IS THE HE that saw ?
Many times when we read this, it seems it is Jesus or others who saw. No, It was John who saw.
Now notice is descending LIKE A DOVE, that means no dove was present.
It is the way dove descends that the spirit descended as John saw .
JOHN SAW.
IN UNDERSTANDING the four Gospels, you MUST LEARN TO READ the incidence in all the accounts to get a holistic view of the matter.
WHY?
It is Historic accounts.
so what actually happened in baptism?
Let’s read this same incidence in JOHN’S ACCOUNT
John 1
26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. note
30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
Please READ THIS AGAIN CAREFULY ?
Don’t speed read
Have we done that ?
Ok you will observe the essence of John’s baptism
It WAS TO IDENTIFY JESUS as the messiah.
And to point Him to the Israelite
So when Jesus said to fulfil all righteousness, it was to fulfil the right thing as told John by God
Verse 32 John was the one who SAW.
So it was obviously a vison seen by John to reveal Jesus to the Israelite.
Some persons has so insulted our Jesus to say Jesus received the HOLY GHOST at baptism or received impartation from John there.
That can never be true. HE WAS BORN OF THE SPIRIT
He is the incarnation.
How can the God made flesh be receiving the spirit of God ?
Luke
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Christ birth was an outright manifestation of God. Remember God is invisible, for Him to be visible to man He has to come as a man. So he defiled all the laws of science and entered Mary’s womb.
Why am I going through all this? CAN’T I JUST HIT THE POINT ON TRINITY ?
NO. I can’t. We have to see the references.
Believing you are serving three Gods is idolatrous. We will see that just now.
If you read the old testament, you keep seeing where the Israelite were told don’t make any image of God
Why?
Because God actually has an image. The image is Christ. There is NO IMAGE YOU CAN MAKE that can represent God as Christ who is GOD MADE VISIBLE.
Colossians 2
1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; note
2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. note
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. note note
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Please read this well TWICE
Ok
You will notice Paul admonishes them against deceit and philosophies.
Part of the deceit is on the God head. See verse 9.
The rudiments are not after Christ, in Christ is the fullness of God head bodily.
Who does God head means? It is from the Greek word theotēs. It just means deity, the state of being God. In Christ is the FULL DEITY of God bodily. Full deity of God.
This is why when Jesus was on earth He never rejected any worship, He never denied Himself as God.
WHAT OF MATTHEW 28 that says baptizing them in the name of the father, son and the Holy Spirit?
Matthew 28
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: note
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Only Matthew recorded father, son and Holy Ghost.
Besides, we saw the disciples baptizing people yet
YOU NEVER SEE ONE PLACE where they did that in the name of the father son and Holy Ghost
Acts 2, acts 3. Acts 5. Peter preached and asks them to be baptised in CHRIST. THE NAME OF THE FATHER IS JESUS THE NAME OF THE SON IS JESUS, THE NAME OF THE HOLY GHOST IS JESUS.
Notice the spirit of God who is the spirit of Christ is called HOLY to describe Him as set apart, sacred and different from other spirits. It is not its name.
He is Christ. THE SPIRIT IS CHRIST IN YOU. HE IS HOLY AS SEPARATE FROM OTHER SPIRITS.
What of John 14, 15, 16 when Jesus said I will send you another comforter ?
Let’s read it.
John 14
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
See verse 16 and 18
Jesus just said the father will send the spirit then He said I will come to you
In other words, He was telling them that the coming of the spirit is His coming to them. Jesus equates father sending the comforter with His coming to them and living in them.
John 14
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Some persons has used verse 28 to say we have God the father as the highest, followed by son the spirit
Read this again as if you know nothing
You will see before he said my father is greater than I, there is a colon to show that it is in relation to the previous statement about going to the father. So when Jesus said my father is greater than I, He was saying my going to my father is greater than my physical presence with you. He was not doing any physical comparison. He has already told us HE IS THE FATHER made flesh in the same chapter. The belief that we have the father son and Holy Spirit in order of hierarchy can not be sustained in the scriptures. What we see is that GOD IS ONE. That one God is invisible. He is only visible in Christ who is God made flesh.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

What of the HEBREW CONCEPT OF ELOHIM ?
Elohim, A plural of majesty, the term Elohim—though sometimes used for other deities, such as the Moabite god Chemosh, the Sidonian goddess Astarte, and also for other majestic beings such as angels, kings, judges (the Old Testament shofeṭim), and the Messiah—is usually employed in the Old Testament for the one and only God. When referring to Yahweh, elohim very often is accompanied by the article ha-, to mean, in combination, “the God,” and sometimes with a further identification Elohim ḥayyim, meaning “the living God.”
Though Elohim is plural in form, it is understood in the singular sense. Thus, in Genesis the words, “In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth,” Elohim is monotheistic in connotation, though its grammatical structure seems polytheistic.

The word was used 2605 times in the Old testament text of the Bible. It does not necessarily means plurality even when it was used for angels or other gods apart from the God. It is more of a description of the almightiness of God or man. God is so mighty to be referred to as singular. Same way when Elohim is used for mighty judges in the Bible.
In Exodus 7:1 and 4:16, the word Elohim was used for Moses an individual. Exodus 7: 1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
The word was used as him unto the judges in Exo 21:6, unto the judges in Exo 22:8, before the judges in Exo 22:9, and whom the judges in Exo 22:9, unto any god in Exo 22:20. And many other references.

How then can we explain trinity? NOTHING LIKE THAT IN THE BIBLE. Throw away the word and its connotations from your memory.
What of the Godhead ? One Godhead.
Ephesians 4
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, note
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
You SEE ONE GOD, ONE SPIRIT,ONE BODY
We have one God, One father, One Jesus who is the father Made flesh and
One spirit who is the father in us.
WE ONLY SEE THE CONCEPT OF FATHER, SON AND SPIRIT IN RELATION TO SALVATION.
It is for us. Christ did a work for us so we can be sons of God and call God father because we have the Spirit of God. God became flesh so we can be sons of God by the spirit of God in us.
So get used to Jesus WHO IS THE ONLY GOD YOU WILL EVER SEE VISIBLE.
even when GOD returns, IS CHRIST.
We worship Christ as our God Because HE IS THE ONLY GOD THAT CAN BE SEEN. This is why reading through the epistles, you will always see God and father of Jesus.

Any God not Christ can be an idol because we KNOW GOD CAN ONLY BE VISIBLE IN CHRIST.
Trinitarians believe we have three Gods as One, that is wrong. We have ONE GOD.
Unitarians believe we have one God Jesus and no father. That is wrong.
THE TRUHT IS WE HAVE ONE FATHER ONLY VISIBLE IN CHRIST AND LIVING IN US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT
One God
Who died for man
Living in us
We only see father son and spirit in describing God as it regards salvation. Remember the son has always been the word of God from the beginning.
It was for men to be sons that He became a man and was called the son of God so as to call many sons to glory.
Hallelujah

BE CONTENT WITH JESUS
Never be like PHILIP WHO SAID SHOW US THE FATHER
When the father was with Him as Jesus.
We WORSHIP JESUS AS GOD MADE FLESH.
